The inspiration for my OFA Season 3 entries was derived from personal experiences with feminine constructs, gender identity, and nature, represented by two impactful early-childhood interactions with wild reptiles. The Snapping Turtle symbolizes inner conflict between classical concepts of femininity and the authentic self, while the Water Snake embodies the continuity between animals and their environments.
